Design
The Tesla Diner feels like stepping into a retro movie set, but with a clean, modern vibe. It’s got that old-school charm—neon lights, chrome edges, cozy booths—just updated for today. If you’ve seen a vintage American diner in movies, this one hits the same vibe but feels cleaner and sleeker. It honestly reminded me a bit of the set from Back to the Future, just with more electric charging stations.

This isn’t just a diner — it’s a full Tesla experience. While you wait for your food, you can charge your car, watch Tesla-themed content on the big screen outside, or just chill in a surprisingly peaceful atmosphere. There’s even a mobile ordering feature through your Tesla app if you don’t feel like getting out. That’s the kind of convenience that makes sense for drivers on the go.
Menu Options
The food’s simple, but it works. Burgers, fries, shakes, and a couple of vegan-friendly options. Nothing too fancy, but the quality surprised me — better than a fast-food stop, not quite a gourmet meal. The milkshake was my personal favorite, thick and not overly sweet.
Experience
It felt like a nice break from the usual road trip pit stop. You can eat, stretch, and check your emails while your Tesla charges. Compared to a regular rest area or fast-food joint, the Tesla Diner has a more relaxed and curated feel.
Price
It’s a bit more expensive than your average diner, but not outrageously so. Think $15–$20 for a decent meal. For the experience and convenience, I didn’t mind paying a little extra.
